Meet Our Team

Alex is a therapeutic riding instructor at BTRC! He joined our team nearly 9 months ago and has since become a favorite among many students!

Megan is a therapeutic riding instructor at BTRC. She has been involved with therapeutic riding for ten years, and has spent the past three as a Paraprofessional in Special Education classrooms. Megan has been riding horses for over 14 years. Upon completion of her PATH certification this spring, Megan plans to pursue a Master's in Special Education and research with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder at Penn State University. She is very excited to be part of the BTRC family!

Sherry handles all of the behind scenes work. BTRC could not function without Sherry in the office. Sherry recently retired from Lansing School District.

Michelle is our volunteer coordinator. She has been volunteering out at BTRC for 5 years and was brought on last September to manage our wonderful group of volunteers.

Al'isha is our herd manager. She makes sure that our program horses are happy and healthy. A northern MI native, Al'isha grew up around horses at a YMCA camp. She moved here recently and is looking forward to working with BTRC!
